Guide · Forminator → Notion
Forminator to Notion without Zapier
There is no official native Forminator Notion add-on. Common paths use Bit Integrations (Forminator Forms trigger → Notion action with OAuth and field map), Forminator’s built-in Webhooks into Make/Pabbly/n8n or a DIY Notion API receiver, or Zapier Catch Hook fed by those same Forminator webhooks. If Notion is the only system of record and you do not need Forminator quizzes, polls, or multi-step UX, a direct Notion form can skip Forminator entirely. Here are four routes. No fake metrics or testimonials.
Your four options
| Route | How it works | Cost | Catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bit Integrations: Forminator → Notion | Install Bit Integrations on WordPress. Use Forminator Forms as the trigger (pick the form/task), choose Notion as the action, authorize Notion via OAuth (public connection client ID/secret), pick a database, and map fields. Bit’s docs list Forminator → Notion for Journal, Task List, and similar templates. | Bit Integrations license (free tier may cover basic maps; Pro unlocks more) — no separate Zapier task meter for this path. | Another WP plugin to keep updated. Notion OAuth public-connection setup is more steps than a personal integration token. Still the clearest no-Zapier WordPress plugin path that lists Forminator → Notion. |
| Forminator Webhooks → Make / Pabbly / n8n → Notion (or DIY) | In Forminator, activate the Webhooks integration and paste an HTTPS endpoint from Make, Pabbly, n8n, or your own receiver. Map the JSON payload to Notion’s create-page / create data-source-item API. Forminator’s webhook integration also works for quizzes and polls. | Forminator Pro for Webhooks on many installs + automation-plan task quota (or developer time + hosting for DIY). Notion API itself has no per-row fee for typical volumes. | Two systems to maintain (or you own auth, retries, field-type mapping, and rate limits on DIY). Prefer this when the same submission also fans out to Slack, CRM, or email. No first-party native Forminator Notion module. |
| Zapier: Forminator Webhooks → Catch Hook → Notion | There is no first-party Forminator app trigger that pairs cleanly with Notion on every Zapier catalog page. The documented community path is Forminator Webhooks → Zapier Webhooks Catch Hook, then Notion Create Database Item / Create Data Source Item with field map. | Forminator Pro (webhooks) + Zapier task billing once free tasks are gone. | Two paid layers for a single destination. Webhook payload shapes can differ between forms/quizzes/polls — retest after form edits. Past submissions are not bulk-imported by mapping alone. |
| Embed a form that writes to Notion directly | Build the form in FormToNotion and paste one iframe (Custom HTML block) on your WordPress page when Notion — not Forminator quizzes, polls, or multi-step UX — is the only intake destination you need. | Free inbox; live Notion sync is a one-time Pro $20 or Business $49. | This does not replace Forminator quizzes, polls, calculations, or deep conditional UX. It does not import past Forminator entries. |

Setting up the embed route
- In Notion, create a database with the columns you want, for example
Name,Email,Message. - Sign up and build the form, naming each field exactly like its Notion property.
- In Dashboard → Connect Notion, paste your Notion internal integration secret and database id, then share the database with the integration (••• → Add connections). Live sync to your own Notion is a Pro or Business feature.
- In WordPress, drop a Custom HTML block (or theme HTML widget) and paste:
<iframe src="https://www.vgt.cc/f/your-slug" title="Contact form" style="width:100%;min-height:640px;border:0" loading="lazy"></iframe> - Publish the page, submit once yourself, and check the new row in Notion.
Stay with Forminator when…
- You already rely on Forminator quizzes, polls, or multi-step forms on the public site.
- You already pay for Forminator Pro (webhooks) and Notion is one of several destinations.
- Respondents must stay inside a native Forminator widget already styled in the theme.
Use an embedded Notion form when…
- Notion is the only destination and you do not want Zapier + Forminator Pro double billing.
- You want Notion rows without a monthly automation bill for a single contact form.
- The same form also needs a public link or iframe outside WordPress.
Honest limits
- FormToNotion does not read or import existing Forminator entries.
- No Forminator quiz, poll, or multi-step form parity.
- No conditional logic beyond basic field types.
- Field labels must match Notion property names for a row to map correctly.
- The free plan stores submissions in the FormToNotion inbox but does not sync to Notion.
