Zoho Forms to Notion without Zapier

Zoho Forms has no first-party Notion button. Teams usually bridge with Zoho Flow, Pabbly, Make, or Zapier — or post Zoho Forms webhooks to a custom endpoint. If Notion is the only system of record, a direct Notion form can skip Zoho Forms entirely. Here are four routes. No fake metrics or testimonials.

Your four options

RouteHow it worksCostCatch
Zoho Forms → Zoho Flow → NotionIn Zoho Flow, trigger on Zoho Forms “Form entry submitted” and use Notion “Create item” (or update/fetch). Map Zoho fields to Notion properties in the no-code builder. This is the closest first-party path inside the Zoho ecosystem.Zoho Forms plan plus Zoho Flow (plan-dependent; Flow has free/paid tiers). No separate Zapier bill if Flow covers your volume.Two Zoho products for a hop Forms does not offer natively to Notion. Best when you already live in Zoho CRM/Books and want Notion as a secondary store.
Zoho Forms → Pabbly Connect / Make / Zapier → NotionUse a connector’s Zoho Forms “New Form Submission” (often via webhook URL pasted into Zoho Forms) then Notion “Create database item”. Pabbly and Make publish Zoho Forms ↔ Notion recipes; Zapier also lists Zoho Forms.Zoho Forms subscription plus connector (Pabbly/Make often cheaper at low volume than Zapier paid plans).Two subscriptions for field mapping. Keep this stack when the same submission also fans out to Slack, email, or CRM outside Zoho Flow.
Zoho Forms webhook → your endpoint → Notion APIIn Zoho Forms → Integrations → Webhooks, set a Webhook URL and content type (JSON / form-urlencoded / multipart). Zoho POSTs each entry; your HTTPS endpoint calls Notion’s create-page API with retries and field mapping. Optional URL params or custom headers for a shared secret.Developer time + hosting. No monthly Zapier fee if you already run a small server. Zoho Forms plan still required.You own auth, verification, rate limits, schema drift, and monitoring. Failed entries can be re-pushed from Zoho (limited retries). Overkill for a simple contact form.
Embed a form that writes to Notion directlyBuild the form in FormToNotion and paste one iframe on your site when Notion — not Zoho Forms’ branded UX, payments, or Zoho CRM sync — is the only intake destination you need.Free inbox; live Notion sync is a one-time Pro $20 or Business $49.This does not replace Zoho Forms payments, approval workflows, subforms, or Zoho ecosystem integrations. It does not import past Zoho Forms entries.

Setting up the embed route

  1. In Notion, create a database with the columns you want, for example Name, Email, Message.
  2. Sign up and build the form, naming each field exactly like its Notion property.
  3. In Dashboard → Connect Notion, paste your Notion internal integration secret and database id, then share the database with the integration (••• → Add connections). Live sync to your own Notion is a Pro or Business feature.
  4. On your site, add an HTML / embed block and paste:
    <iframe
      src="https://www.vgt.cc/f/your-slug"
      title="Contact form"
      style="width:100%;min-height:640px;border:0"
      loading="lazy"></iframe>
  5. Publish the page, submit once yourself, and check the new row in Notion.

Stay with Zoho Forms when…

  • You already pay for Zoho Forms and need approvals, payments, or Zoho CRM sync.
  • A light Zoho Flow or Pabbly hop covers your Notion field mapping.
  • Respondents must stay on a Zoho Forms–hosted experience you already customized.

Use an embedded Notion form when…

  • Notion is the only intake destination and you do not need Zoho Forms’ advanced features.
  • You want Notion rows without a monthly Zoho Forms + Flow/Zapier stack.
  • The same form also needs a public link or iframe outside Zoho Forms.

Honest limits

  • FormToNotion does not read or import existing Zoho Forms entries.
  • No Zoho Forms payments, approval workflows, subforms, or Zoho CRM parity.
  • No conditional logic beyond basic field types.
  • Field labels must match Notion property names for a row to map correctly.
  • The free plan stores submissions in the FormToNotion inbox but does not sync to Notion.
