Carrd, Framer & Webflow forms to Notion
Site builders make landing pages easy, but none of them write form submissions into a Notion database on their own. The usual fix is a chain: builder form → webhook → Zapier or Make → Notion. This guide shows a shorter path: embed a FormToNotion form with one iframe and every submission becomes a row in your Notion database over the official Notion API. No fake metrics or testimonials.
The three-step setup
- Sign up and create a form. Name each field exactly like the matching property in your Notion database (for example
Name,Email,Message). - In Dashboard → Connect Notion, paste your Notion internal integration secret and the database id, and share that database with the integration (••• → Add connections). Live sync to your own Notion is a Pro or Business feature.
- Copy your public form link
/f/your-slugand embed it on your site with the snippet below.
<iframe src="https://www.vgt.cc/f/your-slug" title="Contact form" style="width:100%;min-height:640px;border:0" loading="lazy"></iframe>
Adjust min-height to fit your field count. You can also skip the embed and link a button straight to the form URL.
Where to paste it
| Builder | How to embed | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Carrd | Add an Embed element → Code, paste the iframe. | Carrd's Embed element is part of its Pro plans. Native Carrd forms can only POST to a URL, which needs a separate webhook service. |
| Framer | Insert → Embed, choose HTML, paste the iframe (or paste the form URL). | Framer native forms send to email, Sheets or a webhook; there is no built-in Notion destination for submissions. |
| Webflow | Add a Code Embed element, paste the iframe. | Code Embed may require a paid Webflow site or workspace plan. |
| WordPress / Ghost / plain HTML | Custom HTML block (WordPress), HTML card (Ghost), or straight into your markup. | Works anywhere that allows an iframe. |
Keep the webhook + Make/Zapier chain when…
- You must use the builder's native form styling pixel-for-pixel.
- Submissions also need to fan out to a CRM, Slack or email tools.
- You need multi-step logic, delays or filters.
Use an embedded FormToNotion form when…
- The only job is "put this lead or request into Notion".
- You don't want another monthly automation bill or task quota.
- You want one-time pricing: Pro $20 or Business $49.
Honest limits
- The embedded form uses FormToNotion's own clean styling, not your builder's form component.
- Field labels must match Notion property names for a row to map correctly.
- The free plan stores submissions in the FormToNotion inbox but does not sync to Notion.
- There is no public webhook endpoint for a builder's native form yet, so use the embed or a link.
