Guide · Wufoo → Notion

Wufoo to Notion without Zapier

Wufoo has no first-party Notion button. Teams usually bridge with Zapier, Make, or Pabbly — or push entries through Wufoo webhooks / the Entries API to a custom endpoint. If Notion is the only system of record and you do not need Wufoo-specific features, a direct Notion form can skip Wufoo entirely. Here are four routes. No fake metrics or testimonials.

Your four options

RouteHow it worksCostCatch
Wufoo → Make / Pabbly Connect → NotionTrigger on a new Wufoo entry, then Notion “Create database item”. Map Wufoo fields to Notion properties in the no-code builder. Make and Pabbly both publish Wufoo connectors; confirm the exact modules on your plan.Wufoo plan plus Make or Pabbly (often cheaper at low volume than Zapier paid plans).Two subscriptions for field mapping. Keep this stack when the same entry also fans out to Slack, Sheets, or a CRM.
Wufoo webhooks / API → your endpoint → Notion APIPoint a Wufoo webhook (or poll the Wufoo Entries API) at your HTTPS endpoint. Your server calls Notion’s create-page API with retries and field mapping. Optional shared-secret header for verification.Developer time + hosting. No monthly Zapier fee if you already run a small server. Wufoo plan still required.You own verification, rate limits, schema drift when fields change, file attachments, and monitoring. Overkill for a simple contact form.
Wufoo → Zapier → NotionZapier’s Wufoo ↔ Notion integration: “New Entry” (webhook or poll) → Notion “Create Database Item”. Fastest no-code path if you already pay for Zapier.Wufoo subscription plus Zapier (task limits; paid plans for reliable volume). Polling on free Zapier can lag ~15 minutes.Exactly the Zapier bill this guide helps you avoid. Fine when Zapier is already the company-wide automation bus.
Embed a form that writes to Notion directlyBuild the form in FormToNotion and paste one iframe on your site when Notion — not Wufoo’s payment fields, file uploads, or legacy templates — is the only intake destination you need.Free inbox; live Notion sync is a one-time Pro $20 or Business $49.This does not replace Wufoo payment forms, file uploads, or advanced Wufoo reports. It does not import past Wufoo entries.

Setting up the embed route

  1. In Notion, create a database with the columns you want, for example Name, Email, Message.
  2. Sign up and build the form, naming each field exactly like its Notion property.
  3. In Dashboard → Connect Notion, paste your Notion internal integration secret and database id, then share the database with the integration (••• → Add connections). Live sync to your own Notion is a Pro or Business feature.
  4. On your site, add an HTML / embed block and paste:
    <iframe
      src="https://www.vgt.cc/f/your-slug"
      title="Contact form"
      style="width:100%;min-height:640px;border:0"
      loading="lazy"></iframe>
  5. Publish the page, submit once yourself, and check the new row in Notion.

Stay with Wufoo when…

  • You need Wufoo payment fields, file uploads, or reports you already rely on.
  • A light Make/Pabbly (or existing Zapier) hop covers your Notion field mapping.
  • Respondents must stay on a Wufoo-hosted form you already customized.

Use an embedded Notion form when…

  • Notion is the only intake destination and you do not need Wufoo-specific features.
  • You want Notion rows without a monthly Wufoo + Zapier/Make stack.
  • The same form also needs a public link or iframe outside Wufoo.

Honest limits

  • FormToNotion does not read or import existing Wufoo entries.
  • No Wufoo payment forms, file-upload parity, or Wufoo reports.
  • No conditional logic beyond basic field types.
  • Field labels must match Notion property names for a row to map correctly.
  • The free plan stores submissions in the FormToNotion inbox but does not sync to Notion.
