Framer form to Notion without Zapier

Framer forms do not write to Notion natively: their destinations are email, Google Sheets, and webhooks, and Framer's Notion plugin only syncs Notion content into the CMS. The real options are a webhook into your own Notion API receiver, Make, Zapier, a form add-on that still relies on a webhook, or skipping the Framer form and embedding a form that writes to Notion directly. No fake metrics or testimonials.

Your five options

RouteHow it worksCostCatch
Framer form webhook → your own Notion API receiverSelect the form on the canvas, click Add… next to Send To, choose Webhook, and paste an https:// endpoint such as a Cloudflare Worker. Framer POSTs JSON keyed by input names; the receiver maps them to Notion's typed properties and calls POST /v1/pages with parent.database_id.Developer time; Worker/serverless free tiers usually cover small volumes. Notion API has no per-row fee for typical volumes.You own signature checks (Framer-Signature, sha256 with a 32+ character secret), retries (Framer retries up to 5 times unless you return 2xx, and does not follow redirects), de-duplication by Framer-Webhook-Submission-Id, and field-type mapping.
Framer webhook → Make → NotionCreate a Make scenario with a Custom webhook trigger, paste its URL into Framer's Send To → Webhook, publish and submit once so Make learns the payload, then add Notion's Create a Data Source Item module and map each field.Make operation quota — each submission consumes operations; free tier is limited.Two systems to maintain, and you must share the Notion database with the integration (••• → Add connections) or Make cannot see it. Good when the submission also fans out to Slack or a CRM.
Framer webhook → Zapier Catch Hook → NotionWebhooks by Zapier Catch Hook as trigger, then Notion Create Database Item with a field map.Webhooks by Zapier is a premium app on paid plans, and every submission is a task.This is the per-task bill most people want to avoid.
Framer form add-on (Framer Forms, Form Kit) + Make/ZapierThird-party Framer form components add more input types, but their Notion pages still route submissions through a webhook to Make, Zapier, or the Notion API.Add-on pricing plus the automation tool's quota.Adds inputs, not a native Notion connection. Note Framer's own Notion plugin syncs Notion into Framer CMS, not form data into Notion.
Embed a form that writes to Notion directlyBuild the form in FormToNotion and paste one iframe into a Framer Embed component when Notion is the only intake destination you need.Free inbox; live Notion sync is a one-time Pro $20 or Business $49 — no monthly fee or per-task billing.The form is not styled by Framer's form components, and submissions do not appear in Framer's own form destinations. It does not import past Framer submissions.

Setting up the embed route

  1. In Notion, create a database with the columns you want, for example Name, Email, Message.
  2. Sign up and build the form, naming each field exactly like its Notion property.
  3. In Dashboard → Connect Notion, paste your Notion internal integration secret and database id, then share the database with the integration (••• → Add connections). Live sync to your own Notion is a Pro or Business feature.
  4. In Framer, insert an Embed component, choose HTML, and paste:
    <iframe
      src="https://www.vgt.cc/f/your-slug"
      title="Contact form"
      style="width:100%;min-height:640px;border:0"
      loading="lazy"></iframe>
  5. Publish the site, submit once yourself, and check the new row in Notion.

Keep the native Framer form when…

  • The form must use Framer's own styled inputs and interactions.
  • You rely on Framer's email or Google Sheets destinations.
  • Notion is one of several destinations (use a webhook into Make or n8n).

Use an embedded Notion form when…

  • Notion is the only destination and you do not want a monthly or per-task bill.
  • You do not want to write or host a webhook receiver.
  • The same form also needs a public link outside Framer.

Honest limits

  • FormToNotion does not read or import existing Framer form submissions.
  • The iframe is not styled by Framer's form components.
  • No conditional logic beyond basic field types.
  • Field labels must match Notion property names for a row to map correctly.
  • The free plan stores submissions in the FormToNotion inbox but does not sync to Notion.
